Dr Mitchell Munnings

Dr Mitchell Munnings completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, followed by physician training in Melbourne. He then undertook advanced training in endocrinology in both Melbourne and Tasmania, gaining experience in the management of a wide range of endocrine disorders.

He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society, American Thyroid Association, and the Endocrine Society (USA), which help him maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and practice.

He values clear communication and collaborative decision-making, working with patients to help them understand their condition and feel confident in their treatment plan. He welcomes referrals across all areas of adult endocrinology, with particular clinical interests in thyroid and parathyroid disease, adrenal disorders, men’s health, metabolic bone disease (including osteoporosis), and diabetes technology.

Dr Munnings has a public affiliation with Eastern Health and consults at several private hospitals across Melbourne, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care.
